Hand in Hand: China

In May 2023, Fendi hosted the Hand in Hand celebration of craftsmanship at Temple Beijing, featuring iterations of the Baguette and Peekaboo made in collaboration with Italian and Chinese artisans.

To mark the exhibition, Fendi worked with artisans AXiWuZhiMo, head of the "Yi Needle Yi Thread" professional embroidery cooperative, and LeGuShaRi, whose family have been crafting silver jewelry for 14 generations, to create a Baguette in velvety black fabric embroidered with blue, green and aqua silk threads, and lined in green silk satin with a 925 sterling silver FF buckle and ornaments.

Fendi also invited local artists Chen Fenwan, Lu Pingyuan and Ni Youyu  to customise the iconic Peekaboo in their own styles.
