Iconic medium Baguette® bag, created in 1997, which went on to become the first ‘It’ bag. Versatile and with timeless appeal, it features the iconic underarm design inspired by the French Baguette bread from which it takes its name.
Entirely hand-embroidered with beads and sequins of different shapes and sizes to create a three-dimensional motif that combines over 20 shades of colour, inspired by Venetian murrine. This exquisite workmanship, rich in colour, transparencies and graphic harmonies, requires over 180 hours of craftsmanship. Trimmed in sellier brown calfskin and embellished with an FF clasp.
Featuring a front flap, magnetic clasp, fuchsia satin-lined internal compartment with a zip pocket. Gold-finish metalware.
The bag can be carried by hand or worn either on the shoulder or cross-body thanks to the sellier brown calfskin handle and shoulder strap, both detachable.
