Here are some simple suggestions and care instructions to follow in order to protect the item you have purchased and preserve its beauty over time.

Avoid exposure to excessive heat sources or extreme temperatures, do not overexpose it to UV rays and avoid prolonged contact with water and excessive humidity.
Try to avoid bumps/impacts that might cause irreparable damage to the item, especially in contact with embroidery, rhinestones and laminated parts.
Particular care should be given to light fabrics which might absorb the colors of the materials they come into contact with.
Please do not wash in the washing machine, nor bring the item into contact with chlorinated or salt water.
Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the item, avoiding the use of detergents, products containing alcohol or other solvents on any surface of the item.

Slight differences in appearance are peculiar features of the hand workmanship process used to make the footwear and make them more unique and valuable.
The materials used are selected by our knowledgeable craftsmen with the utmost attention to aesthetics and quality, as well as tested and checked to ensure their durability over time and to improve comfort and appearance.

SPLIT, SUEDE AND NUBUCK LEATHER

Some light material sprinkling may occur. In the event the item accidentally gets wet, allow it to dry at room temperature away from sources of heat and direct light in order to prevent damage.

Should such materials be present in the soles, a normal deterioration of texture and some slight abrasions may appear at the points of contact with the ground.

BRUSHED AND PATENT

These types of leather are recognizable by their uniform look. They are made using a process that hides the grain of the leather, giving a shiny appearance to the material. Although it enhances the shoe and makes the leather more resistant, it may be subject to permanent creasing during normal use. The item may tend to fade with wear, especially in the places most exposed to scraping.

PONY, SHEEPSKIN AND HIDE

Items made partly or totally from hair-on leather, if subjected to rubbing, may suffer a loss or shortening of the hairy coat. Possible differences in color or direction are natural characteristics of the material. To prevent altering the naturalness of the leather, no fixatives are used on these items, making them particularly sensitive to color loss.

NAPPA AND FULL GRAIN

These items are characterized by a soft and silky feel, as well as a natural appearance. In fact, the pores of the skin are visible: the grain.

To obtain this appearance, a special process is used which enhances the natural look and, for this reason, requires particular care if it comes into contact with water. Treat any parts that come into contact with water and humidity by dabbing with a dry, soft cloth.

Wear will make the material slightly more opaque. To revive the appearance, use a neutral cream and rub with a dry cloth. This procedure may be performed periodically to keep the footwear looking healthy over time. Rub the neutral cream evenly over the entire shoe, avoiding contact with other materials, accessories and the bottom of the shoe.

RAFFIA
Natural raffia yarns can display different color nuances that lend uniqueness to the purchased item. Particular care should be taken duringʼuse, especially to protect against abrasions that might permanently change the items' original appearance. Over time the fibers might experience natural relaxation and breakage which can generate some material residue.

COTTON AND NATURAL FABRICS
Materials of natural origin may experience variations in color and appearance over time, mainly in the points most subject to bending and abrasion. Avoid contact with light colors to prevent slight color migrations.
Always store the product inside the protective cases provided, in a safe and dry place.

VELVET AND CHENILLE
These fabrics are characterized by their distinctive soft feel. Given the type of fabric, under normal use conditions aesthetic variations due to rubbing and surface abrasion may occur.

NYLON
Nylons are lightweight fabrics. The fabric is made with delicate fibers consisting of smooth continuous threads. During normal use of the product, this characteristic may become delicate and, over time, cause snagging and dulling to appear on the surfaces at bending or abrasion points.

MESH AND TULLE
Protect the product against excessively strong stress to prevent damage to the threads. Excessive wear of the item could cause the mesh fibers to break.

Materials of natural origin may experience variations in color and appearance over time, mainly in the points most subject to bending and abrasion.

Avoid contact with light colors to prevent slight color migrations.

LAMINATES

Laminated materials are made by applying a metal film which gives the leather a laminated effect. Due to this characteristic, it is recommended that it be used appropriately to prevent any scratches caused by bumping or scraping that might damage the product.

COATINGS AND INSERTS

In order to prevent the coating from detaching, try to protect the plastic inserts that make up the shoe from excessive stress. Any abrasion of the material may cause it to become opaque.

BUFFING AND FADING

These processes are performed on the finished shoes and are very particular and difficult to achieve, it takes great manual skill and craftsmanship to decorate shoes with this shaded and uneven effect. We start with a base material and work with creams and colors. In the event of contact with water the color will migrate towards the point of contact, and also change over time at the points of greatest wear. Each pair has its own manufacturing process and should be considered unique.

STUDS, EMBROIDERY AND BEADS

Embroidery, studs and beads are decorative elements applied using artisanal processes.

Our items are built to be as durable as possible over time but, due to their nature, these decorative objects may detach if subjected to vigorous stress. In addition to this, contact with other parts may damage them by causing scratches, abrasions, and detachments.

STAMPS AND MARKINGS

The insides of our shoes bear stamps and markings made by applying a carved metal film to identify the brand. Over time you may notice a loss of shine and color.

FLUORESCENT TRIM

Due to the particular nature of the pigments that make up fluorescent inks, chromatic variations may occur in materials made with this finish.

To prevent this from happening, we recommend protecting the product and not leaving it exposed to natural or artificial light for prolonged periods.

FLOCKING

Flocking is a process that gives a velvety effect to the touch and sight. The product should be protected by avoiding excessive rubbing which might visibly and irreparably damage the object. Over time, a gradual loss of the effect may become noticeable at the points subject to abrasion or scrapes.

The linings of Fendi products are made with materials specific to their intended use. These materials aim at improving the comfort and durability of wear by neutralizing the friction caused by the contact of the foot with the shoe.

Lighter treatments are used on these materials which stop the loss of color without altering their original appearance; this may cause minor color transference or light abrasion at major contact points.

ESPADRILLES
Espadrilles are handcrafted rope-soled footwear whose manufacturing process may endow them with minor irregularities. The rope is braided and pressed to give the sole greater consistency, the stitching around the rope holds all the coils together. Avoid contact with water and excessive stress, to prevent the rope from fraying. Over time, the jute fibers used to make the rope may experience some natural relaxation and loss of fibers.

FOLDABLE SNEAKERS
This new sneaker features the ability to fold, using the elastic band at the toe.
This feature was conceived to make it easier to carry.
The shoe may appear a little wrinkled after unfolding, but once you put on your feet, it will return to its original condition.
To avoid permanent deformation of the shoe or a loss of tension in the elastic band, do not leave the sneaker closed for more than 72 hours.
